Do your own environmental audit | Eco Audit - Quick Guide | Step 1: Commit | Step 2: Review | Step 3: Plan | Step 4: Communicate | Energy links

Step 4: Communicate your achievements

Let everyone know how ecological you are

After having applied new conservation measures you can let people know about them.

Steps:

Compare the bills before and after the implementation of your programme. Check one month’s energy consumption against the same month in the previous years, to avoid seasonal discrepancies.

Make the information available for your congregation.

Write articles about it in the local and parish newspapers.

Publish some guidelines and/or a diary about the process of making these changes, in order to encourage people to apply similar measures at home or work.

Use posters, brochures, newspaper articles, and lectures to explain what is at stake. WWF, and other Government and NGO agencies can provide materials.
